• The unique post of a screwback earring screws into a tiny bead in the back of the ear.

SCREWBACK FINE PRINT: 

• Due to a thicker gauge on the screwback post, we love screwbacks for healed piercings. We recommend waiting 6-12 months before using a screwback on a new piercing.
• A screwback post is slightly thicker than our traditional studs and hoops because it needs enough width for the threading. Most customers have no trouble with the post size- skin naturally stretches, and your lobes can easily accommodate a screwback. If your piercings are very small or newer, you may need a little extra help getting them in. We recommend applying a bit of coconut oil or even a dab of dish soap around the piercing before inserting. It makes the process much smoother!
